Education and Communication Planning

Is anything scarier than the unknown?
While HSAs have been around since 2004, many people are still unaware of their existence. You may have chosen to add an HSA program to your health plan for various reasons, but if you want the program to be successful, you’ll need to educate your employees. A recent survey of HSA Bank's employer relationships indicated that spending 90 minutes educating employees about HSAs yielded a 21.2% higher enrollment rate.

Don’t worry! We are here to help!
Educating your employees may seem like a daunting task. We’ve designed an Employer Communication Kit to help ease the process. Part 1 of the kit guides you through all the phases of developing an HSA program and shows you how to customize an HSA program that’s right for you. Part 2 provides you with communication resources to educate your employees. You can download the Employer Communication Kit in the Employer Administration Area or request a CD from our Business Relations Coordinators.
