Electronic Enrollment
HSA Bank recommends electronic enrollment for large employer groups. The electronic enrollment process requires the employer, or a third-party, to submit an electronic data file to HSA Bank’s FTP server. Enrollment files using the HSA Bank standard file or an accepted industry standard file.
In addition, HSA Bank offers a customization process if your file format differs from the standard HSA Bank file format or industry standard file formats. The enrollment file will need to contain necessary fields (applicant’s name, Social Security Number, date of birth, street address, etc.) for identity verification purposes. Once the file is accepted into the HSA Bank system the employer would be able to upload their files either through FTP or the Employer Administration Area. The approval process for custom enrollment files may require additional time to set up. Specifications are available by contacting Business Relations at 866-357-5232, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., CT.
