How to Make a Contribution
You have several ways to make a contribution to your Health Savings Account.
Contributions to your HSA can be made through an employer sponsored plan such as a Section 125 Cafeteria Plan. In a Cafeteria Plan, the employer takes your HSA contributions out of each paycheck on a pre-tax basis. To implement this option, please contact your employer.

Contributions can be made to your HSA using HSA Bank's Online Contribution system, available through Internet Banking. First, you will need to create a link to your external account. Once this external account is linked to your HSA, you simply complete a contribution request online and initiate the contribution. For assistance in setting up and making online contributions, please refer to the Individual Online Contribution Instructions.

You are able to make contributions to your HSA through Automatic Transfer. Automatic Transfer, or ACH, is a bank originated electronic contribution. The contributions will automatically be drawn from another account on a recurring basis and placed in your HSA. If you prefer the Automatic Contribution method to contribute funds into your HSA, you will need to complete the Automatic Contribution Form.

You can make a contribution to your HSA by sending HSA Bank a check or money order. To ensure timely and accurate processing, please include one of the deposit tickets provided with your checks, a deposit ticket from your statement or complete and include a Contribution Form.
