In 1997, HSA Bank, entered into the new consumer-driven health plan initiative called Medical Savings Accounts (MSA) under the tradename, MSA Bank.  We continue to provide excellent service to our MSA customers through our Internet Banking website.

Medical Savings Accounts, the predecessor to Health Savings Accounts (HSA), were offered to small employers and self-employed individuals as part of a pilot program. Through hard work, HSA Bank developed a presence in the consumer-driven healthcare market. While many financial institutions were hesitant to enter the market, HSA Bank saw the potential. HSA Bank began redefining our product offering, enhancing customer service initiatives and increasing account volumes.
